Christine Schnöell nasce a Schladming (Alpi, Austria) il 7 settembre 1965. Crebbe molto in modo indipendente, in una grande famiglia con sei figli e cominciò a dipingere prestissimo. Ha rapidamente creato il proprio immaginario e ha vissuto la sua rivoluzione contro il mainstream, ha sempre avuto un suo pensiero critico e vigile verso il suo ambiente e ciò si rispecchia nelle sue opere. Presto lasciò la casa paterna per inseguire il suo istinto libero. A 16 anni, undici sue immagini furono utilizzate per il libro di un programma di test psicologici del dottor Revers/Widauer (TAT-Itemanalyse, Gestaltungstest), utilizzato per l'insegnamento nelle Università di tutto il mondo che è tuttora in uso.
Christine ha frequentato una scuola d'arte privata a Vienna e allo stesso tempo ha lavorato presso uno studio di designer, per agenzie di pubblicità oltre a continuare il suo processo artistico. Si reca in California, Svizzera per poi stabilirsi a Salisburgo, partecipa a molte mostre e laboratori con il supporto di gallerie e amanti dell'arte, lavora come illustratore per libri per bambini e collabora con laboratori creativi per adulti e adolescenti.
Madre di due bambini molto creativi vive nei sobborghi di Salisburgo ma sogna di lavorare in futuro nella sua casa sulla spiaggia in Grecia. "Il mio è un interminabile viaggio interiore attraverso l'intuizione, ispirazione e un desiderio eterno, di esprimere il mio mondo. la pittura è un processo in corso, un'avventura che mi crea dipendenza e della quale non posso fare a meno..."
Christine Schnöell was born in Schladming (Alps, Austria) the 7th of September 1965. She grew up very independently, in a large family with six children and began to paint, as soon as she could hold a pen or a brush in her hand. She quickly created her own imagery and lived her revolution against the mainstream, always had her critical and vigilant thoughts and reflection with her environment which was placed in her artworks. She soon left the parental home and the narrow valley in the Alps. At the age of 16, eleven images were used for the book of a psychological test-program of Dr. Revers/Widauer (TAT-Itemanalyse, Gestaltungstest), which was used for teaching in Universities worldwide and is in use also today.
Christine attended a private art school in Vienna and at the same time worked at a designers studio, for advertising agencies and worked on her own art permanently. She went to California, Switzerland and found her home in Salzburg, had many exhibitions and workshops and has support from galleries and artlovers, worked as illustrator for kids-books and doing workshops for kids and adult to open creativity. As a mother of two very creative artistically children she lives and works now on the edge of the inspiring city Salzburg and is still dreaming to work in the future in her house on the beach in Greece. "I'm on an endless inner journey through intuition, inspiration and an everlasting desire, to express my inner world. painting is an ongoing process, an adventure to immerse an addiction again and again…"
