Nata a Bari nel 1976, trasferita a Bologna nel 1998 dove si diploma all'Accademia di Belle Arti. Attualmente iscritta presso la scuola di Art Therapy Italiana prosegue la sua incessante ricerca artistica.
Ha costruito la sua identità artistica, ricercando tecniche e materiali sempre differenti, questa ricerca l'aiuta ad esplorare gli effetti benefici dell'Arte ed a conoscere la propria persona. Attualmente realizza opere con un materiale leggero e modellabile: il filo di cotone. Ricerca le emozioni nelle espressioni dei suoi soggetti sognanti ed incantati. Che sia filo,che sia traccia di matita o scia di colore liquido, i sensi e i concetti si compiono attraverso la propria reazione irrazionale. Un'essenzialità che rende riconoscibile la "leggera complessità" delle sue opere.
Una molteciplità che caratterizza tanto il suo lavoro artistico quanto i concetti sottintesi, il tutto dissimulato dalla levità dell'aspetto estetico.
She was born in Bari in 1976 and she moved to Bologna in 1998, where she graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts. She is now enrolled in the Italian School of Art Therapy, where she continues her constant artistic research.
She built her artistic identity researching different techniques and materials. This research helps her to explore the good aspects of Art and to know herself.
She is currently realizing works with a light and moldable material: cotton thread.
She researches emotions in the expressions of her dreaming and enchanted subjects.
Whether it is cotton thread, pencil trace or liquid trail of color, senses and concepts are accomplished through her irrational reaction. An essentiality that makes recognizable the “slight complexity” of her works.
There is a variety that characterizes her artistic work and its implied concepts. Everything is dissimulated by the lightness of the aesthetic aspect.
All the senses are involved in every single work, the essential ones, sight and touch, but also smell, hearing and taste: sensuality, indeed, that embodies both determinations of meaning.
